A plate layout for an aluminum hull

This is an example of hull plate layout. We streamlined our Multisurf design process by saving a component of the plate layout on the top strake (strake A) and loading it twice to make the plates for the lower strakes (strakes B and C). Also, to keep the pictures from being too dense, we used a rather slender number of triangles per plate (64 instead of 200-400 we'd use in real life).

The strakes are defined by two Edgesnakes ('sheer' and 'keel'; cyan) and two CSnakes ('lonseam1' and 'lonseam2'; cyan) running the length of the hull surface.
